The image conscious fashionistas of Hong Kong are unforgiving when it comes to product loyalty, even when you’ve lead the industry for over 60 years. And with competition from beauty hubs like Korea and Japan growing fiercely, Vidal Sassoon were being challenged to prove they still led the industry in hair design innovation.
We answered any doubts with Salon Sassoonism, a campaign where their iconic past met the future. In a fully custom built Salon, registered participants were able to select from 60 years of Vidal’s iconic designs via interactive digital lookbooks. Then, combining cutting edge style with cutting edge technology … participants were given a First In Class experience with live 3D hair pieces integrated into their new looks.
The event was the most successful in Vidal Sassoon’s Hong Kong history. Online registration received over 32,000+ unique views and social posts about the event had a total reach of 7 million as local celebrities like HOCC also joined the conversation. With the Salon Sassoonism campaign, the VS Academy had once again set a new benchmark in hair design.
